Dr Moto is a made for TV series that will be making an appearance SOON on your TV.  Watch Out for It!.  It will be worth the wait.  It is the first ever TV show made by motorcyclists for fellow motorcyclists.

The Show is a light-comedy show focusing on MOTORCYCLING SAFETY. You can RIDE, TALK, READ, EAT, SLEEP and DREAM motorcycles, but if you don’t ride safely you may not be riding for long. Dr.MOTO and all involved are all motorcyclists who are concerned at the ever increasing motorcycle accident rate. Thus the show will try to impose on viewing motorcyclist to think safety when riding. Our message are also targeted at general viewers who are non motorcyclist to understand motorcyclist. Motorcyclist like themselves do not like accidents.

The inaugural season will have 13 episodes which will focus on motorcycling safety.  Yes, we want you to be safe so that you can enjoy more riding on your motorcycles rather that on a hospital bed or recuperating at home.  We want you to be safe, healthy and strong so that we can all ride our motorcycles for another day and another day and so on...

We will bring in experts in various fields including Team LCR-Honda’s Lucio Cecchinello, who had flown in from his busy schedule to be interviewed in Sepang.  Lucio will give useful information on how to be safe and stay safe while on the road.

Also featured will be experts from various product manufacturers.  They will give you useful tips regarding their products.

Interview with Lucio Cecchinello

Lucio Cecchinello , owner of MOTO GP’s Team LCR Honda was interviewed by co-host TASHA  at the Sepang International Circuit when he down in Malaysia with his team for a practice session. Lucio was asked about his experience (he was a former Moto GP rider himself) particularly on motorcycling safety. Lucio gave many tips and advises especially for the Malaysian motorcyclist and in particular TV viewers. Lucio’s concerned for the safety of motorcyclist was evident when he pleaded for Malaysian motorcyclist to NOT RACE ON THE ROAD.

Press Conference

Most of the local press were represented and some even had more then a representative as both their Motoring correspondent and entertainment correspondent were present.

Also present were the show’s sponsors and representative from Government bodies. Motor cycle clubs too were present at the launch.

  Celebrities Hot Lap
Local celebrities 13 in all took part in a celebrity hot lap. The celebrities both males and females are required to ride a motorcycle round the Sepang International Circuit’s GO-KART Track one at a time. So their challenge is to record their best possible time. The track is not completely open as the celebrities are required to weave around models in part of the track and before the 2nd last corner they are required to ride over an obstacle which are planks laid out to simulate riding across a wooden bridge. Times recorded by the celebrities are then tabulated and ranked.
